Jakob Clark is a freelance graphic artist based out of Austin, Texas. Jakob is a recent transplant from Jackson, Mississippi, where he was the advertisement art director for the Jackson Free Press, the area's premier alternative newsweekly. For his first couple of years with the JFP, he worked at the award winning AAN (Association of Alternative Newsweeklies) paper as a graphic designer, working in the areas of advertisement, cover design, layout, illustration, and production.

Jakob's work is versatile, although his main inspiration comes from the Midcentury Modern movement. He has a love for furniture designers Charles and Ray Eames, architects such as Richard Neutra and Pierre Koenig, graphic designers Paul Rand and Herbert Matter, illustrator Charles Harper, and textile designer Alexander Girard.
